Recovering and an FO!
It’s been a crazy past week or so, mostly due to the fact that I caught some nasty, nasty stomach flu bug and it really has had me down. I finally started feeling better over the weekend, though, so I’m really grateful for that.
On a totally different note, I wore my Sally Melville Elegant Gauntlets to work a few days before I got sick, and my boss totally raved over them.
I’ll bet you think you know what’s coming next, and you’d be 100% totally right in your guessing. Yes, I’m the antiprocrastinatrix and, yes, I finished them so I wouldn’t have to worry about getting them finished before the holidays. Here they are for your viewing pleasure:
(I promise there’s a second one, but I couldn’t show it to you while I was using that arm to take the photo.)
Pretty, no? They’re Koigu P314, which is kind of a olive-tan-lilac-peach-brown colorway. I hope my boss loves them.
(I also hope that no one else in my family gets the stomach nastiness I had. UGH!)

Nice work and I hope you are felling much, much better. You were very productive while ill, however.

Rats, I hate stomach flu! Here’s hoping the boys don’t get it.
I can’t believe how much you get done when you’re sick!

I love my Melville Gauntlets too. You are a way nicer knitter than me to make them for someone else.
Hope you feel better!
